Iron Man 2 comes out this weekend. Ebert gave it three stars out of four, while other critics have said that the series has already burned out by trying to pack too much in. What do you guys think?

In a nutshell.....I thought it was one of the coolest movie trailers ever produced. A little long though.
I was underwhelmed. should have kept terrance howard. Should have went more into the demon in a bottle. Should have tightened up the script. The first movie seemed so epic and this seems so not epic.

I thought the film was perfectly good. I think it went into Tony Stark's self destructive tendencies a lot more than I expected it to, and certainly much more than most superhero movies. Don Cheadle did a fine job, just as Terrence Howard did in the first; the character of Jim Rhodes is criminally-underdeveloped in both films, so it doesn't really matter who plays him. I was sort of underwhelmed by Mickey Rourke, not because he did a bad job or anything, but because the script didn't do much with him. Sam Rockwell, on the other hand, was really wonderful. Funny, dangerous; the perfect antithesis to Tony. Overall, I'd say the film one of the better superhero movies in recent years, but it pales in comparison to the first, in my opinion.

I'll say it like this.
The first Iron Man was like a burger from a fancy restaraunt. These burgers are different than the regular fast food burgers because they use higher quality meat, serve it on a plate with the pickle on the side, serve the frys cut big and fried in clean oil and have the tomato ketchup and mustard on the side instead of on the bun. A high quality burger indeed.
Iron man 2 was like a big messy greasy fatting undercooked burger with fries that are good but have too much salt and when you bite into the burger some mayo that they over applied falls on your shirt.
Ebert said it like this: "You wanted another Iron Man movie and you got one" You got a burger that was fast and greasy instead of gourmet and prepared with love
If you want to know how I truly feel listen to filmspotting review the movie. they also did a good review on slashfilm
