Are there any books out there that you recommend other Christians read? Who are some of your favorite authors? What about websites? Are there any websites that have been helpful to you as a Christian? Any resources that you can recommend could prove very helpful to other Christians, including me.

I am working my way through some of N.T. Wright's books. Interesting perspective.

Almost everything Tim Keller-related has been a huge source of fascination and comfort to me. He wrote a book I recommend called "The Reason for God" and has given a lot of talks on the subject. If you're into Apologetics, you'll really enjoy what he has to say. Below is a link to an extended talk that he gave at Berkeley. www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9fmKSwuoDE

I would recommend Art and the Bible by Francis Shaeffer. I don't agree with a lot of what he says in other writings, but in this book he writes about God's attitudes about art, and some historical perspectives on art. It's fantastic.

I recently found a solid website called Stand to Reason. It is an apologetics website, and one of the best I've seen in a while. The founder, Greg Koukl, gives lectures across the country and even has a podcast. I highly recommend it. www.str.org/site/

I read "Jesus amoung other gods" by Ravi Zacharias. It is one of the few books that gave me new perspectives on Jesus and humanity. For christians in the industry in Hollywood, Master Media is a good resource for fellowship and encouragement.
